Snoop's Take

The Number-one Running Belt with Water Bottles is designed to keep runners hydrated while on the go. This hydration belt features two BPA-free water bottles and ample storage space for essentials, making it a practical choice for marathon running, hiking, and cycling. Consumer feedback highlights both positive and negative aspects of the product. Many users appreciate the inclusion of two water bottles, stating, "So you'll have enough water for short to medium distance runs," while others express concerns about comfort, noting, "It either bounces up and down and hits me in the balls". This feedback suggests that while the belt is functional, its fit and comfort may not meet everyone's expectations. Overall, the Number-one Running Belt is recommended for those looking for a hydration solution while exercising, but potential buyers should consider trying it for themselves, as experiences with comfort can vary widely among users.

Durable and comfortable neoprene material
Vest is all around more comfortable and convenient for me.
Good capacity for water and snacks
The Naked belt has served me well and can fit two 500ml soft flasks and still has another compartment for gels and snacks.

Bounces during running
It either bounces up and down and hits me in the balls or It rubs into my hip bones.
First time I ran with a well fitting proper run vest it was like a dream. So lightweight. No bounce.
But vests are just more comfortable and have less bounce.
Some people I know love them. It might be something you need to just try for yourself.
Uncomfortable rubbing against body
Personally, I cannot stand running belts. Don’t like feeling something on my hips/waist while running.

Core Power Plays

The specs and strengths that make it shine.
Discussion on hydration belt brands
a lot of complaints are the bottles fall out or the strap loosens too often.
Might be overkill, but it's well reviewed on YouTube, etc.
The insulated bottles are nice and fit ice cubes without trouble.
I got mine from running warehouse.

Water carrying preferences vary
I simply wouldn't carry water - ever - before getting it because I hated belts and vests.
I can't do belts without threat of pantsing myself.
Great for shorter runs, can hold a 500ml soft flask (have taken an additional 500ml flask in it too with no problem) phone, snacks, keys, rain jacket shoved in it. It's amazing.
Same. Vest (Salomon Adv Skin 5) for longer runs, belt (Salomon Adv Skin Belt) for shorter ones. A go
General discussion of various running belts
Nathan TrailMix Running Vest/Hydration Pack.
I like the SPI Belt. Lightweight, expandable. Lots of colors.
It doesn't come with a bladder but has a pocket for one.
Hydration belt recomendation I've always run with a water bottle in my hand for my long runs but want to go back to using a belt that can hold a bottle (around 20 ounces) to free my hands up.
Looking for recommendations for hydration belts
I've been a vest person for a long time but am wanting to give a belt a spin in some hot races I have coming up.
Discussion on specific belt recommendations
Love the Naked band. I will say that sizing is tricky, because, especially if you’re carrying two full flasks, if you don’t nail the sizing it can slide down uncomfortably with the weight.
Love my Nathan belt. It doesn’t bounce.
Discussion on hydration preferences for marathon day
especially since I realized that my non-hydration belt has a much smaller pouch pocket.
I also prefer to have my water on me as it makes me feel more 'secure' knowing that I can take a sip when needed and also take down my gels/salt caps precisely when I want to.
As a bigger guy, 6'3 235 lbs, I need to make sure I get ample hydration.
I am paranoid more about fuel than water - I ran the Staten Island half without it and was fine, but I've done every other long run with it.

Cautionary Callouts

Know the pitfalls before they catch you off guard.
Preference for hydration vests over belts
A well fitting vest is basically the best I've experienced personally.
Personally I find vests a lot more comfortable than belts! I would consider getting a vest!
I have some low profile belts but for carrying more stuff I prefer a vest/backpack. I have a friend
Hydration belt vs vest questions I have a very old hydration belt (amphipod I think) with the small
Personal preferences for hydration solutions vary
Hydration belts, yes or no? I live in a country with no public water fountains so I need to carry water when I run outside.
There's nothing bad about them, but from what I've seen it's a very personal thing.
I have a Nathan belt and I like it. I'm a bit overweight currently (had a baby 8 months ago and have a lot of stomach flab) and I find that the belt accentuates my muffin top.
Having the double water bottles with the fanny pack distributes the weight evenly, though.
Preference between hydration belts and vests varies
Seems like a much better idea in the summer heat.
I make most of my own gear to ensure good fit/breathability.
