Snoop's Take

The Keepark Climbing Rope is a versatile fitness tool designed for indoor and outdoor workouts, featuring a 1.5-inch diameter and a length of 15 feet. Made from non-slip hemp, this climbing rope facilitates full-body exercise by engaging the arms, legs, and core while allowing users to improve grip strength and muscular endurance. Many users praise the rope for its effectiveness in developing upper body strength, with one user stating, "My experience with the ropes is my arms feel more toned and it’s almost like the stair master but for your arms." However, some feedback indicates that the effectiveness of the rope highly depends on the intensity of the workout, as noted by a user who remarked, "I can only last like maybe 15-20 seconds doing that, and it greatly contributes to my shoulders and forearms being gassed out." Overall, the Keepark Climbing Rope is recommended for those looking to enhance their strength training routine, provided they are prepared for high-intensity workouts.

I use this instead of the jump rope because I totally don't care about the coordination aspect of it.

Discussion on improving coordination with jump ropes
It's weird and I need to work on a better form cuz it feels a lot different than a regular one
These IMO detract from that piece and will mess you up when going to a true rope.

Discussion on climbing rope sizes and brands
( Zigzag plus) best rope size? So it doesn’t catch or slip through.
Found the rope would deform and or stretch which caused slipping.
It doesn’t milk, so it doesn’t start slipping like other 11.5-7mm lines do after extended use.

Discussion on other climbing rope brands and their quality
They're UIAA rated but I'm wondering if anyone here has personal experience with Simond ropes and maybe their other climbing gear?
I got my last climbing rope from them. It's a 70m and 9.5mm in diameter. I really like it, very smooth and very easy to undo the knots after being weighted.
It's a totally legit french brand with a lot of experience. I wouldn't worry at all.

Discussion on rope toys safety for pets
Rope toys are perfect for her - they keep her occupied for hours, and she seems to really enjoy biting through the threads, untying the knots, shaking them, playing tug with them, and sleeping on them.
technically theyre unsafe once theyre shredded and the dog could eat the fibers. with that being said, i have 2 GSD's who destroy almost all toys - ropes are their absolute favorite toys, and they dont destroy them immediately.
It can be dangerous if they swallow long threads of rope. I tend to keep the rope toys for supervised play only, since I don't completely trust my pup with them and the intestinal damage could be severe.
Once it starts to get to chewed up just replace it. Rope toys are relatively inexpensive.
Discussion on climbing rope brands and their suitability for different activities
Looking for advice on buying a rope, any recommendations would be welcome.
This is the answer. OP wants the 'swiss army knife' of ropes.
You probably will need two ropes. For most mountaineering outside of Alaska, an 8mm x30m dry rope is perfect, such as Beal Rando.
It depends on where you want to mountaineer, as in different areas the standard is different.
