Compatible with balance nipples and rings

Yes it works, I do this!
This worked for us! Perfect fit!
Evenflo nipple compatibility on glass bottles
We could only find the glass Philips Avent and I saw on TikTok that the Evenflo Wide Balance nipples (that come on their plastic bottles) actually fit on them!
I use the chicco duo bottles - they’re awesome - they are a completely glass bottle that’s coated with plastic only on the outside, so best of both worlds.

Core Power Plays

The specs and strengths that make it shine.
Evenflo nipple compatibility with alternative glass or silicone bottles
Wide neck Phillips advent glass bottles are compatible with the evenflow nipples BUT the top cap doesn’t fit without pushing down the nipple.
Cap and all, no leaks❤️
the wide neck nipples work with the nanobe silicone bottles and the advent glass bottles.

Buyer’s Cheat Sheet

What to check before you click ‘Add to Cart.’
Alternative bottle brands recommended
I recently discovered the Chicco Duo bottles which are plastic outside but coated with a thin layer of glass on the inside so it’s still light and durable.
You do have to be careful because they call their plastic “clear glass” or something like that (sort of like how Gap calls their black shirts something different every year).
Daycare bottle usage challenges
Daycare requires plastic bottles so that’s what I use when I send them there. It’s not up to me.
so I didn’t end up buying the conversion kits - they were all rated poorly.
Limited availability and stock challenges
I’ve recently been on the hunt for these glass bottles as we’re expecting mid November! I’ve been checking the outlets listed below once or twice a day, and after 2-3 days, finally got lucky today with some stock coming in at Walmart.
I’m so sorry.
Girl getting those bottles is a battle in itself lol. Idk why they don't ramp up production- the product definitely sells
You can find them in stock at Lactation Connection right now!
Interchangeability with other brands’ components
That chart says that the Evenflow nipples fit the Chicco Duos, so I'd say there's a decent chance that they'll fit the Phillips Avent too. Maybe buy a small pack and test first though, unless someone else can confirm for sure?
You have to use the Philips avent white piece but yes you can swap the nipples. I did.
Pigeon fits perfectly in the standard anti colic avent collar, and that collar fits perfectly on glass avent naturals.
Consult lactation consultants for bottle recommendations
We started with the Phillips avent natural response nipples but switched to the Evenflo balance on the advice of our LC to help correct baby’s shallow latch. Highly recommend this combo OP!
I recommend speaking with a lactation consultant before giving birth (even if not planning to bf).
Trial and error required for baby bottle and nipple compatibility
I tried these but my baby could barely get a drop out of them.
Had you made sure the valve wasn’t stuck closed?
It might take a little trial and error as babies can be picky, so don't stock up on a ton yet.
Utilize free baby bottle sampler boxes and registries for trying different bottles
I bought a tonnn of Dr. Brown’s because I heard they had good ratings and my girl was not about them.
They allow returns for a hot minute and don’t care if you’ve used them!
Babies have varied bottle preferences, requiring experimentation with different brands
Kiddo liked the Avent bottles the best, he really disliked Dr. Brown’s which was a shame because we were gifted some nice ones lol.
I had to have my husband run out and buy Dr Brown bottles immediately while my newborn was angrily screaming from hunger.

Cautionary Callouts

Know the pitfalls before they catch you off guard.
Debate over plastic vs glass bottles
Am I the only loser who is still using plastic bottles?
There are lots of good reasons to choose plastic bottles, and lots of good reasons to choose glass bottles. Both choices are valid.
Glass baby bottles -recs and tips! We are re-stocking for baby #2.
Unfortunately all plastic when heated will leach microplastics into whatever is within the container (as far as I know, at least).
Concerns over nipple flow and baby gag reflex
If she's gagging, maybe the flow is too fast? Are you using slow flow nipples?
Took soooo many different styles to get here, and it’s the only one she’ll take!
Babysitter had to feed with a medicine dropper for a while (so thankful for her patience!!)
Preference for glass bottles to avoid microplastics concerns
I’m using glass because micro plastics and pfas freak me out, plus I don’t think it’s any harder to use glass.
Same here. Microplastics. We use the Philips Avent glass bottles.
