Overall it's fine except the insulation on the handles should be silicon not plastic, expect that to melt, but who really cares.

Comment on the weight of the kit
Nothin ultralight about it baby
As far as "backpackable" SS cookware goes, it doesn't get any better than [SP kettle].
General discussion about cookware performance regarding sticking
I’ve got a Colman Compact, that I love, and a set of MSR Seagull stainless steel pots. These pots are really nice but I don’t think they were intended to be used on my type of stove because they get really bad hot spots and everything sticks to them.
Depends what type of camping you’re doing.
General discussion about cookware materials
Less pricey than titanium, more durable than aluminum, no off flavors and oxydation.

How about made in Thailand? MSR Alpine 2 set is made there.
General discussion about camping preparation
We got a 12 person Ozark Trail cabin tent and it was amazing, especially with rain fly off.
Brought my Camp Chef, griddle for it, extra tarps because of rain on Friday…..forgot my tent.
I am looking for a stainless steel mess kit for solo backpacking that includes a pot and pan and that is not made in China.
Many people say to stay away from aluminum mess kits etc. Some say it causes Alzheimer’s or cancer.
Experiences of forgetting camping essentials
I do this too, but I still forget shit lol I always remember when I get to my site
I really enjoy devising systems for this kind of thing 😁 It’s so satisfying!
Best Cookware (Pots & Pans) Money Can Buy? What are the absolute best pots & pans money can buy? I want to do this right once and for all.

Tips on organizing camping gear
This is basically what we do, but a few things don't fit/we use year round, like we use our solar charger year round, or our blankets don't fit in the bins and we don't want them to get gross in storage.
Yep, a permanent list is the best thing to do. I always forget something (most recently, a bag of dog food) and so I'm constructing a list that goes on the refrigerator when I'm not using it.
General discussion about camping cookware recommendations
Best Cookware camping set? I’m looking for some camping cookware for my boyfriend as a Christmas present since he has been mentioning going hiking and camping by himself soon, but I don’t have any experience on what products are best to use.
If he's backpacking and camping by himself, get the following, Msr pocket rocket 2 Toaks 750ml or 900ml (not both) Bic Mini lighter Lite smith ultralight knife/firestarter set (.7oz for emergency fire needs only) Any ultralight under 1oz long handle titanium spoon One small msr fuel canister It's not THE lightest ever backpacking setup but close and it's pretty hard to beat. It's the kind of backpacking setup someone could maintain forever and total weight including fuel is about 1.25lbs. Total cost for all the above should be below $100. OR if you want to do it easy get the soto amicus stove and pot set at REI and call it a day
Depends on the style of camping, type of stove, meal preferences. For example I camp light and have a single titanium mug/pot that fits the gas can and some bits. I don’t fry anything, all meals are ‘one pot’ meals. I know people who carry a bit more to have frying, a proper pot, kettle etc. for a gas cooker. If you are cooking by fire it changes things a little maybe. My fire cooking gear is not my lightweight hiking cooking gear. Titanium is often a good idea. It saves a lot of weight and so far my titanium kit has been durable and solid despite being weirdly light and thin.
For “car camping” get a Lodge cast iron skillet and a cast iron tripod with Dutch oven-type pot or grate. For backpacking some may recommend the full Jetboil Flash or Stash systems, but they are huge. I prefer a $13 backpacking stove that fits on an isobutane fuel canister. A Toaks titanium pot is nice. Also the Stanley Adventurer set is great.
Tips for cleaning cookware after campfire use
When you cook over a fire you tend to get a lot of soot on the bottom of the pot/pan.

General discussion about cookware safety concerns
I forget if it's good or bad though.
