Snoop's Take

The Xthrotsenk Workout Gloves are designed for both men and women, providing a comfortable and protective option for various fitness activities such as weightlifting, cycling, and yoga. Made from breathable polyester, these half-finger gloves are praised for their comfort and ability to prevent calluses, with users noting that they help keep hands smooth and protected during workouts. Positive feedback highlights their effective grip and comfort, with one user expressing that they're "the BEST pair of gloves I've been practicing for a while now," while others caution that they can get sweaty and may hinder grip strength during heavier lifts. Overall, while the Xthrotsenk Workout Gloves have received mixed reviews regarding their performance in grip strength and potential discomfort from sweat, they are generally well-regarded for their comfort and durability. Users appreciate their design and effectiveness in preventing hand injuries, making them a recommended option for casual gym-goers looking to enhance their workout experience with a protective glove. However, serious weightlifters may want to consider individual grip needs before purchasing.

Positive Feedback

I was in the same exact boat as you - bought some gloves to avoid the tears and help with grip strength - but found that I was crippled without them and preferred to not have them on for some exercises, which drove me crazy trying to take them off while switching stations and choosing weights.

What it does well!

Key strengths users can’t stop talking about.
Provides grip strength support
The wrist cuff is significantly smaller than the Army Leather gloves/mitts
gloves IME make it harder to grip and control the weights.
Good for wrist support during workouts
Good gym glove brand/model recommendations? My girlfriend has very sensitive skin and requested I wear gloves at the gym to keep my hands soft, and I heard gloves can help support wrists which is useful for those like me who spend an overwhelming majority of the day working with mice, keyboards and drawing tablets which can strain the wrists over time.
Comfortable and breathable material
Wow- the best purchase I've made in a while.
The BEST pair of gloves I’ve been practicing for a while now, and through the years i’ve had gloves from Everlast and Venum, but they all lasts for a year AT least.
What accessory equipment do you recommend?
Comfortable once worn
Overall, I think they are awesome gloves.
Hope I am not disappointed. They do look FKG amazing.
Helps prevent calluses
I personally feel like they help me alot, and I don't like having my hards feel like sandpaper, and be all torn up.
It's always a joking kind of thing. Like Lord Dom says, "you wear gloves so your hands can be nice and smooth to jerk-off your boyfriend that night" it's all part of the fitness circlejerk.
I wear gloves because I get bad eczema on my hands, which leaves me with tons of tiny blisters on my hands, as well as all of the other horrible itching, burning, cracking dryness of it.

Gloves can get sweaty and uncomfortable

Plus better grip, gloves get sweaty, and actually cause more problems, and slips. I can dry my hands off and continue on.
Also most times if u star using power lifting gloves regulary when your callouses fade ur hands will 100% get hurt from de shape of the glove and de friction of the movement.
I find gloves to be more trouble than they're worth. Grip the bar as shown elsewhere in this thread and you'll be fine unless you start doing hard core olympic lifting - at which point you'd get a formal trainer that would show you how to tape your hands.
Gloves can hinder grip strength
they didn’t allow me to grip weights and bars properly and it lead to a wrist injury
Gloves hinder grip strength
Gloves don't work for larger weights.
Can hinder grip strength
they can mess with your grip strength from my understanding, so I just steer clear.
