Snoop's Take

The RIGWARL Workout Gloves are designed to provide lightweight full palm protection and an excellent grip, making them ideal for various fitness activities like weight lifting and cycling. Users generally appreciate the gloves for enhancing grip strength, with one stating, "I discovered recently that my ability to move my own body weight improves significantly when wearing gloves." However, some feedback indicates discomfort due to sweat build-up and concerns about grip strength, with a user noting that gloves can sometimes hinder proper weight management, stating, "they can mess with your grip strength from my understanding, so I just steer clear." Overall, while the gloves have some drawbacks, they are recommended for those looking for support and protection during workouts.

I do! My grip strength is terrible and I have sweaty hands, so it helps a lot.

Positive Feedback

I was in the same exact boat as you - bought some gloves to avoid the tears and help with grip strength - but found that I was crippled without them and preferred to not have them on for some exercises, which drove me crazy trying to take them off while switching stations and choosing weights.

Key strengths users can’t stop talking about.
Helps with grip strength
I do! My grip strength is terrible and I have sweaty hands, so it helps a lot.
Good gym glove brand/model recommendations? My girlfriend has very sensitive skin and requested I wear gloves at the gym to keep my hands soft, and I heard gloves can help support wrists which is useful for those like me who spend an overwhelming majority of the day working with mice, keyboards and drawing tablets which can strain the wrists over time.
Oh...well then. Reminder to everyone: all gloves are not created equal.
holy fuck
Provides excellent grip
Overall, I think they are awesome gloves.
Helps improve grip strength
I discovered recently that my ability to move my own body weight improves rather significantly when wearing gloves and I suspect that my lifting ability would, too.
Helps prevent sandpaper hands and calluses
I personally feel like they help me alot, and I don't like having my hards feel like sandpaper, and be all torn up.
Many people are joking when they make fun of others for gloves.
I wear gloves because I get bad eczema on my hands, which leaves me with tons of tiny blisters on my hands, as well as all of the other horrible itching, burning, cracking dryness of it.

Can get sweaty and uncomfortable
I was in the same exact boat as you - bought some gloves to avoid the tears and help with grip strength - but found that I was crippled without them and preferred to not have them on for some exercises, which drove me crazy trying to take them off while switching stations and choosing weights.
Specially if you work on the computer a lot, you should avoid wearing gloves as at least in my case, they didn’t allow me to grip weights and bars properly and it lead to a wrist injury which is a sort of common on your left wrist.
Anecdotally I can’t think of a reason you’d need gloves for lifting unless you don’t like calluses on your hands.
Can mess with grip strength
they can mess with your grip strength from my understanding, so I just steer clear.
Quality concerns and dissatisfaction
i bought these gloves and am totally unhappy with the quality.
I have had the same hypergrips and while comfortable, they didn't last me very long.
