The Rhino USA Wheel Chock Tie Down Kit is designed to provide a secure and stable solution for transporting ATVs, UTVs, and other heavy equipment. With a break strength of 4,500lbs and a complete mounting kit, it ensures that your vehicles stay in place during transit. Consumer feedback highlights the solid construction and heavy-duty nature of the wheel chocks, with one user stating, "That wheel chock is solid though." Many appreciate the ease of installation, noting that it is quick and hassle-free, which is a significant advantage for those who frequently haul heavy vehicles. However, some users pointed out that the tie-down straps may not meet everyone's expectations for quality, with comments such as, "I'm simply flabbergasted how the tie-down could simply disassemble itself like this." Overall, the Rhino USA Wheel Chock Tie Down Kit is recommended for those seeking reliable trailer equipment, as many users praise its durability and effectiveness, despite some concerns about the straps.

What it does well!

Key strengths users can’t stop talking about.
Solid construction of the wheel chock
That wheel chock is solid though
They are heavy and also heavily webbed inside. Very solid.
I went with Rhino Ramps and they’ve treated me well for 7+ years now.
For tie down, I recommend tire dolly straps, aka tire baskets.
Heavy-duty construction
We have these, they work awesome.
Can confirm. These are great.
I like your setup better.
Easy to install
These scissor chocks look neat and were recommended in another thread.
Got my first ATV's today! Have a question though.
I'll give them a go and report back.
I am deathly afraid of working under jack stands.
Made in the USA
I believe they're made in the USA and I occasionally put my Silverado 6.6 Duramax on them with no issue.
Reliable for heavy vehicles
Damage isn’t likely to occur.
Durability of wheel chocks
Their wheel chocks have survived years of traveling for me and my friends bikes...
I had a set of the “old” design ramps that were fine for many years.
Straps are above average quality
the Rhinos are definitely above average I'd say for consumer grade tie downs.
They are a lot smoother and I've never had issues with them, be it motorcycle sized or tie downs for a car.
Easy to strap and unstrap
Well finally got the wheel chock kit I’m super happy with it a lot quicker un-straping and strapping it down
I just put these on my trailer and their great
Good kit for trailer use
No movement whatsoever.
I've owned a set for years with no issues.

Where it needs some work!

Areas to watch—feedback on possible improvements.
Difficult to remove heavier bikes from the chock
I can't imagine trying to push a heavy bagger out of it.
Not suitable for all trailer types
I wanted to like them but can’t get them to work well for my trailer.
Low quality of tie-down straps
I'm simply flabbergasted how the tie-down could simply disassemble itself like this.
Tried a couple different setups with my tiedowns. I've found rhino to be VERY low quality.
Straps can break and cause accidents
Bike fell on the highway, beware “Rhino USA” straps I had just bought this mint 30 hour yz450F.
User error may be blamed for strap failures
straps rarely fail. If you want to blame the straps, you need picture proof of how it was tied down or people will rightfully assume it was user error.

Core Power Plays

The specs and strengths that make it shine.
Preference for heavy-duty alternatives
Mine have been great for over 2 years +.
I use the cheapest I can find, since they're a simple device.
Discussion on longevity of design
They look identical to the ramps I got in the late '90s. It is amazing that it is so identical.
Yes they worked BUT you have to inspect them between uses, I neglected that and had one collapse on me while I was working under it.
Discussion on the importance of fork savers for stability
I don't want to take any risks with my bike or potentially damaging a vehicle behind me with a fork saver flying off
I’ve noticed a significant improvement in stability when using one. I’d highly recommend it, especially if using a hitch rack.
I had to abruptly come to a complete stop on the interstate just a couple weeks ago and would have lost the rear window without it.

Hidden Hero Hacks

Unexpected tricks and side‑door uses you’ll love.
Discussion about vehicle ramps as an alternative
You might look into “rhino ramps”
You want vehicle ramps.
I love the Race Ramps they don’t move at all, Rhinos will move but many use them no problem.

Buyer’s Cheat Sheet

What to check before you click ‘Add to Cart.’
Discussion about tie down accessories
I'm gonna be honest, I was really concerned about them because of the talk online but since I made this post they don't seem to be too much of an issue for owners.
Discussion on quality vs. cheaper alternatives
Skip HF and buy quality products.
Inquiring about safe uses for wheel chocks
What are those things that elevate the car? I thought they were wheel chocks but it doesn’t so.
Do not use these to get access under your vehicle. That is not a safe use for these.
Nope. Stock height! Is there a trick to make them not move when going on them? And you think they’re safe?

Cautionary Callouts

Know the pitfalls before they catch you off guard.
Safety concerns regarding car ramps
Would you folks agree with that? Would it be smarter to get a jack instead?
Race ramp is the only ramp I trust. It’s your life we are talking about.
Not safe?! Did they have a reason? I’ve used em with a Prius and a Tahoe. Still here! :)
Discussion on rollaway protection
X chocks are cool and probably offer the best rollaway protection.
Concerns about safety with ramps
Even the best things in the world can fail or break, make sure you have a few backup plans.
NEVER trust your life to only a set of ramps, NEVER pull up on ramps with only the parking brake and gear to hold it in place, and NEVER take advice from someone who tells you otherwise.
Discussion on safety with ramps
Always have redundancy though, lift good, I'm still putting jack stands under it. No car repair is worth my life.
