Snoop's Take

The HK Army Vice Paintball Tank Grip 2.0 in Grey/Blue is designed to provide a secure and comfortable grip for HPA tanks during paintball games. This product features an anti-slip design that ensures the tank stays in place on your shoulder, allowing for improved maneuverability and comfort while playing. Consumer feedback highlights a strong preference for the grip offered by tank covers, with one user stating, "I prefer the grip on my shoulder of a tank cover." However, some users express concerns about the pricing, noting that it feels disproportionately high compared to similar models, such as the Spyder Victor and Spyder Fenix. This mix of sentiment indicates that while many appreciate the functionality, the cost may deter potential buyers. Overall, the HK Army Vice Paintball Tank Grip 2.0 is recommended for those seeking a reliable grip for their paintball tanks, but potential buyers should weigh its price against competitor options to determine if it meets their budget and performance needs.

Seriously, though, I don't see how this HK gun is worth $50 more than a Spyder Victor.

Core Power Plays

The specs and strengths that make it shine.
Positive comments about the color scheme of the setup
I love the color scheme
Discussion about adjusting the trigger for optimal performance
Thank you! I'm only possibly worried about getting the trigger adjusted once I get it aired up for the first time.
I've heard good things about the Fang trigger. I think you'll have it to your liking in no time once you start shooting.
Comments on military-grade engineering
HK in Oberndorf has been building weapons forever—before that sewing machines.
They put like 60k rounds through it and dunked it in a bucket of water multiple times when it was too hot to hold.
Comments on the aluminum body and features
It... it sure is something.
Oh wow thanks!! But this one also sells for 130 bucks it seems, and to be honest the HK one looks a bit nicer :P

Discussion about HK Army's edgy brand reputation
I’m just shocked ya'll bustin my balls over a couple dusty headbands while there's a diddler on the loose.
Yeah where do you think they got those lightning bolt and skull designs from? It’s just completely random that biker helmets look surprising similar to WW2 German helmets.
They really don’t do anything. So if you are trying to save money, go normal shocker amp.
I have owned both a normal amp and then an HK one. The cc frame will fit the HK amp. The only differ
Discussion on different tank sizes affecting cover choice
Because you're talking a volume, you can make your 68ci tank long and skinny or short and fat, or anywhere in between, and still have the same 68ci volume as your competitor.
Comparison to other brands and models
but makes me sad to say i think i prefer these grips over glock
The hk it just something else. Why have leather seats in your car, or listen to good headphones, or drink nice whisky instead of vodka? Why bang your girlfriend instead of that sock under the bed? *it's a better experiance*
Discussion on brand reputation and competitiveness
I don’t see the problem with them being competitive with other companies.
Inquiry about preference for regulator grips
I think I prefer the exalt to HK grip but I’m open to all opinions.
Exalt was better in that it covered all of the reg and was tighter all around because it had more surface area.
I’ll likely keep the Exalt unless someone has experience with the OEM/XLS and says it’s better than Exalt’s Reg grip.
Any problems? Do you love it or think it’s just okay?
Perception of the marker as suitable for beginners
Probably a decent choice for beginners that don’t want to spend a bunch of money…

Cautionary Callouts

Know the pitfalls before they catch you off guard.
Excitement about returning to paintball after a long break
My goal was basically just to have a good reliable mechanical setup that will last.
If the difference is minimal I’ll just get the SP one with a mechanical frame included so I can swap between them.
Acknowledgment of the setup's reliability for recreational play
Nice setup! That's all you'll ever need for recball.
General chatter about paintball community dynamics
Every paintballer I’ve interacted with, whether they were in a full ghillie suit or brightly colored jerseys, were all very friendly, welcoming, and non-judgmental.
I haven't played paintball in years, partly because I prefer the Milsim feel of airsoft gear.
Chatter about nostalgia for old tank covers and designs
no more neoprene tank covers? I mean. I get it. I’m old.
Chatter about HK being cringy
The main point is to buy what you like. If you like HK designs, rock them.
Discussion on the design similarities with other brands
or new legion riot 2 xD
They've tweaked a few things like the milling at the back of the gun, given it 'cocker threads and the *ANGRY EYES* detent covers from the D3FY Vertex, but it's still obviously the same design and almost certainly made by the same OEM.
