Snoop's Take

Hello Bello Training Pants are designed to help toddlers transition from diapers to underwear with a playful twist and a budget-friendly 22-count jumbo pack. They feature a fun ‘All About Feelings’ design aimed at making potty training engaging, but user feedback bristles with practical complaints; one review quipped, 'Hello Bello are great if you like pretty patterns and changing pee-soaked onesies three times a day.' Other users bemoan leak protection failures, hard-to-tear packaging, and erratic sizing, painting a picture of a product that excels in looks but stumbles in functionality. In summary, while the design may charm the eye, the recurring issues with leak protection and overall usability suggest this product is a cautious buy in its category.

Leakage and poor absorbency issues
Hello Bello are great if you like pretty patterns and changing pee-soaked onesies three times a day.
Didn’t like hello bello at all.
Stock, sizing, and design issues
They've been our favorite brand and I haven't found any other training pants I like on my 19mo 🙈
It’s ridiculous.
Hard to tear open
I don't like how hard they are to tear but they're the longest/highest ones I could find that actually cover his butt...
Declining product quality and customer service
I feel like hello hello’s product quality and customer service/shipping has really gone downhill in the last 6 months or so.
Sizing and design issues
He could technically wear the second largest pull up waist wise, but then one of his butt cheeks would hang out.

Core Power Plays

The specs and strengths that make it shine.
Training pants encourage potty training through wetness awareness
training pants are designed to let a child feel wet so they can help with potty training.
Training pants are designed for wetness awareness to encourage potty training
Pull ups/easy ups are supposed to be for 'potty training' so they don't absorb quite as much because the point is your child starts to recognize they're wet and want to avoid it.
I'd think because they're a tad more absorbant, I don't have proof or anything but that would be my guess as they're marketed as 'diaper' pants, and not just a thin pull-up?
Pull ups are supposed to make kids slightly uncomfortable and more aware of when they pee, 360s aren’t.
My one year old is still wearing size 3 so I buy her the 360 diapers. She is way too little for pull-ups.

Unexpected tricks and side‑door uses you’ll love.
Nighttime potty training alternatives advice
We found that they hold more urine and are cheaper than most pull ups.
More effective for heavy pees and cheaper!
I like the practicality of this suggestion but highly doubt my 3 going on 13 year old would like the idea of diapers.
I use 4-5t night pullups for my 4 yo.

Buyer’s Cheat Sheet

What to check before you click ‘Add to Cart.’
Differences between pull-ups and training pants
Training pants are underwear with a slight pad to help stop an accident from getting everywhere, but they will be wet.
Pull-ups are basically a diaper with attached sides.
Training underwear is regular underwear with more absorbent materials so you have a bit more of a safety net for a full-blown accident.
Pull ups make it harder to potty train from my daycare provider.

Cautionary Callouts

Mixed reviews on Hello Bello baby products
I love them. They are great quality.
I actually really loved them too and the designs are so fun.
I wanted to love them since they tried so hard to make them more ethically, but my good friend works at Kimberly & Clark making Pampers.
Couldn’t stand them personally.
