Snoop's Take

The besrey Baby Backpack Carrier is designed for parents who love the outdoors and want to take their toddlers with them on hikes. This carrier offers comfort and safety, featuring adjustable straps and multiple storage pockets to enhance the hiking experience with your little one. Consumer feedback highlights the carrier's lightweight nature, with one user stating, "The easiest baby carrier I’ve ever used and SO light and airy." Many parents appreciate the adjustable waist band that accommodates different body sizes, making it suitable for both tall and shorter users. However, some feedback suggests that the carrier may not be the best fit for petite individuals or very young infants, as noted by users who found it cumbersome in such scenarios. Overall, the besrey Baby Backpack Carrier is highly recommended for its category, particularly for families looking for a comfortable and supportive option for hiking with toddlers, despite some considerations for specific body types and age suitability.

My girl was heavy and I preferred a ring sling for assisted carry because it offered more support than the Tush Baby type carriers.

Suggestions for alternative carriers
I have this one and it’s been surprisingly great for the cost! Luvdbaby Premium Baby Backpack Carrier for Hiking with Kids – Carry Your Child Ergonomically…
You can get a second-hand mec one fro $50-100. The storage isn’t huge, it has a shade but people lose them, but it’s a great carrier, shame they stopped making it.
If you’re just doing smaller hikes or go infrequently, I think you’re fine using a quality soft structured carrier.
