The specs and strengths that make it shine.
Discussion of other brands and their features
Helps get my son higher to see everything and can barely feel it.
It is excellent quality & comfortable. Has a built in sun shade and a section for a water bladder.
We found this one to be the most adjustable and comfortable for our son and for us to wear.
There’s no full support, you always need one arm to hold baby. And the strap is pushing in your neck and doesn’t spread out.
Discussion about the effectiveness of different carrier types
Senarah/Toddler Carriers Does anyone use one for their 9mo and how do they find it?
This looks like a knockoff Gooseket. Not really a carrier but a carry assist.
Following my baby is almost a year and always wants to be carried . I was considering a tush baby but I didn't like how it's bulky . Wondering if the senarah is a better option.
Did you end up getting the senarah?? How is it?

Advice to test carriers in-store with children
You can just do what we did. Bring the kid into the store and stuff him into various carriers to try them out, then when he pukes all over one buy that one.
Experience with soft & simple toddler hip carriers like Wild Ride or Dear Baby AU? I have a 98th percentile 6 month old, weighing 22lbs. When we're out and about, we use the Marsupi carrier, which mostly works well, and I have a Tula Free to grow coming, so I can try the back carry position.
Best hiking carrier for infants? My wife and I are looking for suggestions for hiking carriers for our infant for this fall.
Question about tracking kids backpacks My kids are too young to have phones. If I put an air tag in their backpacks will this be a reasonable way to know where they are?
Advice to limit forward carrying duration
Forward facing is extremely simulating for baby and they're unable to turn away from the stimulus to calm down, so yes, you should limit it to 15ish minutes.
It’s hard on baby’s hips and spine, it’s an asphyxiation hazard if baby falls asleep, and it’s uncomfortable for the wearer because it throws your center of gravity off.
Discussion about comfort and practicality of different carriers
It is limiting in how you move though, you can't bend down or lean very far, makes you walk and move a bit like C3PO!
Baby has always found it comfy from the newborn stage. He's only 3 months now, so maybe we'll switch to something else down the road, but for now, we reach for the HBC every single day.
Discussion of toddler carrier use and convenience
I really would prefer not to wear a whole carrier just to have her on me for a couple of minutes at a time during outings.
The one I'm looking at (wildride carrier) has a 44lbs limit, 9 months to 4yo is what their description states.
I think even a Tush Baby (bulky, I know) would be more stable.
Once you've got the hang of it, they are SO versatile and easy to use.

Cautionary Callouts

Know the pitfalls before they catch you off guard.
Safety considerations for carriers
Safety wise they are a fine option for a child who can sit strongly enough to be carried on your shoulders without a carrier, provided they do not sleep in the carrier.
