Core Power Plays

The specs and strengths that make it shine.
Discussion about radiator ports placement
Back single fan rad is just a waste IMHO.
If it’s going to be part of your drain section, go bottom.
This is why I advocate for cross flow rads.
Whichever is easier to plumb.
Discussion about radiator configuration and water flow direction
should the water flow direction be A as the inlet and B as the outlet, or vice versa
You only need 1 pump.
I was wondering this same thing…I will try swapping the inlet and outlet the other way around cos I think it might be better to prevent air being stuck at the top if the outlet is on top.
it doesn’t really matter what’s the inlet and outlet do what you like more.
Discussion about radiator materials and personal experiences
It’s probably what I’ll do. I was just curious as to anybody’s personal experience with different metals for their radiators.
I couldn’t figure out why I was overheating with all new cooling system parts, swapped in my old radiator and everything was cool again.

Always look at the vehicle before you bid. The images are not enough to go on and there is always more than meets the eye with many of these vehicles.
Discussion about aftermarket parts options
I'd look for an all-metal radiator. Mishimoto or Mountune are all metal.

Discussion about radiator cap safety and risks
Idiot Removing Radiator Cap When Engine is Still Hot
Well. If it wasn't for him being an idiot, I would've never seen what happens when you pull off the radiator cap too soon in that situation.
I think this guy has a blown head gasket that's producing way more pressure in that cooling system than is normal.
You always allow a car engine to cool before doing pretty much anything, but especially anything involving the radiator.
Personal anecdotes related to radiator incidents
I’ll admit I was that idiot once. I know nothing of cars and had a piece of shit car that would overheat.
Spoiler alert; it wasn’t.
I always thought there was an overflow hose near the cap that allows for outflow into a reservoir when the heated fluid expands.
The key thing is to document and take pictures of issues that weren’t visible in the online listing.
