Snoop's Take

The WEELMOTO Signal Lights Assembly is designed specifically for the 2003-2005 Toyota 4Runner, providing a reliable replacement for the passenger side turn signal and parking light. It is tailored for models equipped with Daytime Running Lights (DRL) to ensure optimal functionality and safety on the road. Consumer feedback highlights the ease of installation as a significant advantage, with users appreciating the plug-and-play design. One customer noted, "it fit perfectly in my desk," indicating satisfaction with the product's compatibility and functionality, while others have pointed out compatibility issues with non-DRL models. Additionally, the absence of included bulbs has been a point of contention, as some users expressed frustration over needing to source their own bulbs for installation. Overall, the WEELMOTO Signal Lights Assembly is recommended for those specifically looking for DRL-compatible replacements for their Toyota 4Runner. Despite some concerns regarding bulb inclusion and compatibility, the positive feedback on installation ease and fit suggests that it serves its intended purpose effectively.

Why not use all LED in the head lamp or tail lamp assembly, instead of the main lights being HID/LED and then the turn signal an incandescent bulb?

Positive Feedback

they seem mounted way too low.

Core Power Plays

The specs and strengths that make it shine.
LEDs provide significantly brighter lighting
Finally manned up and swapped out the stock halogen turn signal bulbs for LEDs.
Nice! Simple change that should have been from factory.
Much better! I bought the LEDs a few months ago but haven’t gotten around to swapping them.
Discussion on LED vs Incandescent bulbs
A few reasons.
Dude when I see a busted LED brake light, alli can think about is how it's hundreds of dollars for a light assembly to replace that stuff.
Tell that to every fucking Dodge with racetrack tailights older than the warranty.
I see loads of cars with dead LEDs.
Discussion on brightness in daylight
What mod is this? How bright is it in daylight?
I can see how they're aimed fine to not produce dazzle at oncoming traffic. But there should be some limit as to how bright they can get because hot damn they're blinding.
Discussion on visibility and design of turn signals
It’s not a legal requirement in the USA or Canada for headlights to be aligned on a brand new car so yeah it happens a lot, not to mention they can become misaligned during service as well.

Ran them over 15 minutes straight and never got a dash error or hyper flashing.

Thanks for taking one for the team, like all the previous folks who posted in response to hard wiring lights: just get a rechargeable one.

Cautionary Callouts

Know the pitfalls before they catch you off guard.
Concerns over longevity and cost of LED replacements
They burn out too, sometimes way faster than they should, and it's just super nice to replace something for $15 off Amazon than $1500 from the dealer cause it's an entire sealed taillight assembly.
Yamaha has a rear fender w/rack combo that also has a built-in rear taillight that uses one of those plugs.
There's a trade off to be made with halogens. Longer life=lower output, and vice versa.
Concerns over aftermarket headlight safety
Aftermarket headlights have all the engineering prowess of a napkin-sketching mechanic with a failing marriage and a drinking problem.
