Snoop's Take

The uxcell Hip Flask is a durable 18oz stainless steel flask designed for outdoor enthusiasts who enjoy carrying their favorite beverages on the go. With a leak-proof design and a portable shape, this flask is perfect for camping, hiking, or any outdoor activity, allowing users to enjoy drinks conveniently and discreetly. Many users appreciate the flask's sturdy construction, noting that "I've had a stainless 8oz flask for 12 years" highlighting its long-lasting durability, although some caution that prolonged storage may impart a metallic taste to liquids, stating, "Stainless steel will change the flavor of your whiskey". Despite this, the overall consensus is positive, making this flask a recommended choice for anyone seeking a reliable and portable drinking companion.

Don't know their vintage at all, pretty sure it's a new thing for them. I have one in Bottomlands camo that goes with me on most excursions.
I've had a stainless 8oz flask for 12 years. Don't some dings, but still holds liquid.
Portable and easy to carry
Ragproper has a 100 and 240ml glass flask with silicone grip flask set for 50 USD and it’s legit amazing I use it regularly for going to friends, fishing, etc

forgive my ignorance but what’s the proper/best way to clean these? i’ve got a couple stainless/brushed aluminum finish flasks sitting in a box somewhere and i’ve always felt like i could never clean em correctly.

Cautionary Callouts

Know the pitfalls before they catch you off guard.
Hip flasks are commonly used at funerals and weddings.
I have now got like four or five of them. I wonder is it acceptable to use these in public?
A funeral feels one of the few places in life you're *Most* likely to see a hip flask, imo, though maybe don't bust it out until after the coffin's been lowered/torched...
Weddings, BYOB events, and if we were going somewhere overnight with no bar? Nice to have a night cap sometimes.
Funerals were *the* place to use one. I used to wear garters solely to slip a flask in, and use it at funerals, weddings, parties, anything where it was either BYOB or likely to be boring enough that I needed booze.
