Snoop's Take

The Tuxapo Binocular Harness Chest Pack with Rangefinder Pouch is designed to enhance outdoor experiences, particularly for hunting, hiking, and shooting enthusiasts. This innovative chest pack provides quick access to your binoculars and other gear, ensuring that you can focus on your adventure without fumbling with traditional bags. Consumer sentiment regarding the Tuxapo harness reveals a mix of appreciation and concern. While many users find the pack to be effective and well-designed, some have critiqued the "incredibly noisy material inside" the chest harness, stating that it can be distracting during use. The feedback highlights the balance between functionality and comfort, where some users have noted, "the old open side model is made out of 500D cordura that’s LOUD AS FUCK." Despite the noise issue raised by some users, the Tuxapo Binocular Harness is still recommended for those seeking a durable and functional option for outdoor activities. Its military-grade durability, ergonomic design, and modular features make it suitable for dedicated outdoor enthusiasts, provided they can overlook the noise concerns.

Core Power Plays

The specs and strengths that make it shine.
Inquiring about binocular recommendations and experiences
Need binocular recommendations I am looking for a pair of binoculars for birding and I get super overwhelmed at all the options.
I'm my opinion, 8x42 is the most versatile option for most birding and once you make that decision, shopping becomes much less overwhelming.
I use the Vortex Crossfire 8x42 nocs and really like them.
[All About Birds] has an excellent article.
Discussion on modularity and attachments
I love that stuff, you can go super minimalist, or you can go whole kit and kaboodle with adding on supplementary pouches.
Very modular with room for attachments (range finder pouch, sidearm holster, bear mace holster, etc.).
Go to a place that sells them and look through them.
They also look pretty portable compared to more standard ones.

Suggestions for DIY solutions to noise
Honestly if your only complaint is the noise why not just sew in some old flannel or cotton?
When I am sitting/lying on reclining camping chair, there is no shakes.

Discussion on pricing and value for money
I've bought telescope eyepieces from them before, so I know they make good stuff, I'm just not sure I can justify paying over double.
Sometimes it is better to save up to buy one good product than to buy two bad ones.
Not to discourage the purchase of high-end optics, but it might be worth looking at mid-high end as well.
It's not high-end in any way, but for the price it's reasonable and great to get you started.
Discussion on potential deals and quality of binoculars
Beware of BAD Binocular/Optics "Deals".
an excellent high-quality binocular from 5 years ago is still an excellent high quality now... just at a lower price :-)
Deal to AVOID ... like the plague!
Celestron 71333 Nature DX 10x42mm Binoculars with Multi-Coated Lens.
User experiences with alternative harnesses
I couldn’t be happier. I hated the vortex pouch and couldn’t wait to get rid of it.
Overall I liked it the best.
Went from a Vortex harness to a Marsupial, couldn’t be happier.
Made in america too.

Cautionary Callouts

Know the pitfalls before they catch you off guard.
Inquiring about product quality and user experiences
Are these any good? I'm on a pretty limited budget, and thought these might be decent.
I am considering buying a pair of high-end binoculars for myself after a year of birding with a $150 pair.
Is this binoculars good as a starter?
I'll need something that's not too cumbersome to carry around my neck all day but still offers a great viewing experience.
