Core Power Plays

The specs and strengths that make it shine.
Curry combs seem unusual for dog grooming.
People using curry combs on dogs seem weird to me. Videos I've seen of dogs groomers just kind of gently gliding the rubber over the dog's coat don't seem to accomplish much, haha!
Discussion on coat types and grooming tools.
When Alfie, a plush coated smooth collie has a coat blow, it lives up to its name. It looked like someone exploded a collie in my house.
FURminator is for the undercoat. So if your dog is a single coated dog it would be a bad idea.

Unexpected tricks and side‑door uses you’ll love.
Alternative grooming tools recommended
+1 for Equigroomer! Cheap and doesn’t harm the coat.
Instead of using that get a Chris Christensen cat carding butter comb 013.
Chris Christenson coral slicker brush, works great, rather expensive in the USA, but worth it.
This one is really good.

Cautionary Callouts

Know the pitfalls before they catch you off guard.
Concerns about grooming products for pets
I accidentally gave my cat a bald spot!! I am not a groomer, but I’m just really concerned.
Oh my gosh, I didn’t realize it did any type of damage.
I recommend brushing the fur out first with a slicker brush.
I'd switch to a different brush and maybe only brush every other day.
Users prefer ZoomGroom for similar tasks
I think I'd still use my ZoomGroom over it based on how the tines look.
If you’re deciding between this and the zoom groom, I’d definitely go for the zoom groom.
Preference for ZoomGroom over other grooming tools.
the way the teeth on it work was just better than any of the others.
Discussion about wear and tear of grooming tools
Am I doing something wrong? Is this normal? Should I try a different brand or style of brush?
I find that it still works pretty well though!! Just not the same as a fresh, new one :/.
They're kinda similar to pencil erasers.
If they made the tips out of harder stuff that didn’t wear down it probably wouldn’t feel as gentle and pleasant to the dog.
