Snoop's Take

The tolviviov Home Alarm System (2nd Gen) is a DIY smart security solution designed to protect homes, apartments, and offices by monitoring entry points through door/window sensors and a siren. It provides real-time alerts via smartphone notifications and integrates with Alexa and Google Assistant for voice control. User feedback, however, is far from glowing. Many complain about intrusive sounds and false alarms, with one user quipping, “Is there any way to turn off the beep every time I open a door?” Other reviewers lament sensor misalignment causing unnecessary alerts, suggesting that while the system offers a robust feature set, its sensitivity might become a nuisance in everyday use. The recurring issues in sensor performance have become a major talking point among users. In summary, while the system boasts an impressive DIY setup and expansive sensor options, the persistent complaints about false alarms and intrusive notifications make it a less-than-ideal choice for anyone seeking a quiet and reliable security solution. Expert opinion leans against recommending this system for those who prioritize a seamless and unobtrusive home security experience.

I’d be willing to be a lot of money that you have nothing to actually worry about.
Go to it and open it and close it and I guarantee you the error will go away.

Smart home integration and automation discussions
I feel like this is a pretty straightforward question, but we have struggled to find an answer looking online.
This is handy because it does not require you have your camera system integrated with your alarm vendor.
The problem we have found is they don't seem to be able to geo-fence multiple devices in the way I'm describing.
If you want to be 100% sure the cameras are off and can’t be accessed u/kv603 workaround using z-wave automation is indeed a clever way to accomplish this.

Concerns over false alarms and dispatch reliability
Over 96% of alarms are false, that’s completely unacceptable of these security companies.

Securitas bills SimpliSafe® directly when a guard is dispatched to your monitored location.
this would allow dispatch to see if there is actual intruder and then they have evidence of crime in progress.
