Snoop's Take

The President Electronics Randy II FCC is a handheld CB radio offering AM/FM functionality with a vibrant 7-color display and smart scanning features. Engineered for both everyday communication and emergency situations, it brings modern flair to classic CB radio design. Community chatter is as polarized as its technical specs. Many users sing its praises; one even exclaimed, “Love it”, highlighting its compact and feature-rich design. However, critics are quick to point out glaring shortcomings such as the underwhelming rubber duck antenna and steep price. The debate underscores that while performance is respectable, the antenna design leaves much to be desired. In the final analysis, the Randy II FCC earns a nod from enthusiasts who prioritize a robust feature set over minor hardware compromises. Despite its antenna woes and high cost, this radio stands firm as a competitive option in its category.

President Randy 2. Maybe buy a “tactical” antenna or a wire dipole and coax, would make an EASY portable base.
Well, its small rubber duck antenna is what limits it.
