Thank you for that! So the ceramic pots are good to go in some Swiss dish washers.
Oven cleaner is very good at getting rid of the burned in part in the center.
We don’t need to clean it because we eat everything 😉 but if it ever happens I would fill it with water and leave it for a night in the sink.

Anyone have any instructions for a vintage fondue pot? I’ve never owned or used one so I am a bit lost.
It has very basic instructions but has a fun selection of vintage recipes.
I really need this instruction booklet and I cannot find a single thing online anywhere to help me understand how to open it to insert the fuel gel/liquid.
Honestly it doesn’t have much instruction, it’s mainly recipes.

Rub a crushed garlic clove inside the pot for flavoring, chop it up and add to your cheeses.
Gruyére melts nicely so it's advised to use it whenever you need that nice melted consistency.
The one time we had a fondue not work out well was when I got there late and a relative started the fondue without me.
