Snoop's Take

The Mathews Archery STABILIZER 12" Black ASY is designed to enhance the performance of archers by providing stability and reducing vibrations during shots. Made from rigid aluminum, this stabilizer aims to help bow users achieve better accuracy by leveling the bow and mitigating unwanted movement. Consumer sentiment surrounding the Mathews stabilizer indicates a mixed perception, with many users questioning its value. One user noted, "When the stabilizer setup for the front and back bar and adapter is almost 700$ it’s too much," reflecting a common sentiment about the high costs associated with Mathews products. Additionally, some archers feel that there is no significant advantage to the bridge lock stabilizer compared to more affordable options, raising doubts about the effectiveness of pricier stabilizers. Based on the feedback, while the Mathews Archery STABILIZER may appeal to dedicated enthusiasts willing to invest in premium equipment, its high price point may deter budget-conscious users. Thus, potential buyers should carefully consider whether the investment aligns with their individual needs and preferences.

There's no advantage that a bridge lock stabilizer can provide over non bridge lock options.

Stabilizers are a person's individual feel, their purpose is to help level the bow, slow the movement of the bow, and can help take some vibration out of the shot.
The effectiveness of expensive stabilizers is questionable.

I like their stuff and I can go bug John Schaffer in person if I have questions or problems.
High costs of Mathews stabilizers deter budget-conscious users.
Yeah it might be true, I wasn’t trying to dispute that either. To be honest though, I might actually buy one this year and try it out.

Discussion on stabilizer weights and balancing techniques
Yes. 31oz on the 30" front bar (including 3oz from tungsten dampening) and 13oz (incl 3oz from tungsten dampening) on the 12" back bar.
It's giving a fairly neutral balance rather than extremely front heavy like I'd imagine that is!!
Went ahead and tried it and got a noticeable jump in my scores from average of 660-670 now up to 680-690 (50m outdoor). Holds way steadier and almost no more dip bangs.
Last year I had 2oz on an 8in for my mission switch this year 1oz on 8in for my v3x nothing on the back for either.
Discussion on stabilizer compatibility with Mathews Engage limb legs
Does anyone have experience using the Mathews Engage limb legs with a long front stabilizer?
I took measurements on both Mathews, phase 4 and mathews lift both 29 inches, engage legs and 30 inch stabilizer will hit the ground on phase 4.
I use a pine ridge with a 30", works great.

Most of them tend to come with 4oz of weight , and you can certainly buy more.
I've bought some from AliExpress, and a quick release too - much cheaper than the brand name ones but still good quality.
I've got a bear cruzer g2 that I essentially set up as a target bow before I got a proper target bow
Discussion on stabilizer preferences.
The QAD and Matthew’s branded MX2 are the same brand.
I REALLY like the Conquest stabilizers.

Just needs a stabilizer.
Discussion about stabilizer compatibility with Mathews Engage limb legs.
I like this bow alot, its short axle to axle, very light, and damn quick for a smaller bow.

they felt more dead to me personally I also like that I can slide them in and out to really fine tune them and get the balance perfect
