Snoop's Take

The LUSHIH Set of 2 Trailer Stabilizer Leveling Jacks is designed for use with various types of trailers, providing a stable base to prevent wobbling and enhance safety during camping or transport. However, consumer feedback has raised concerns regarding the durability and functionality of these stabilizers, with sentiments like, "this looks like what happens when you crush an aluminum can and then try to get it back into shape" reflecting dissatisfaction with their construction quality. Despite their intended purpose, many users noted that these jacks are not suitable for lifting, as evidenced by comments such as, "found out the hard way that the stabilizer jacks are not made for lifting." Based on the feedback, it is advisable to consider other options if reliable lifting and stability are critical for your trailer needs.

Poor construction quality
Interesting stabilizer jack.
This looks like what happens when you crush an aluminum can and then try to get it back into shape.
I really don't see the point.
The power stabilizers have whiny motors that sound under-powered.
Weak metal construction
And even easier to kick until it bends back into place. Weak metal.
Not too hard to break either.
Not suitable for lifting
Found out the hard way that the stabilizer jacks are not made for lifting… posting this so maybe others can learn from my mistake.
You can bend the frame if you lift with the stabilizers.
Stronger jacks are still not for lifting.
Jacks can bend easily under stress
You can possibly be thankful they failed - their attachment points on the frame generally aren’t meant to take a huge amount of weight.
I have personally seen bent frames from this.
Stabilizers are not for lifting
Stabilizers are not for leveling - at all. Full stop.
This will give you a VERY sturdy and strong base that will have MANY uses besides stabilizing your TT.

Hidden Hero Hacks

Unexpected tricks and side‑door uses you’ll love.
Learning curve for proper usage
Oh well I’m still learning as I go.
Alternative leveling solutions suggested
For leveling side to side get the stackable blocks for under the tires.
I use the lego blocks to help stabilize side to side.
Alternative leveling methods suggested
I think you have the right idea about using blocks but I'd make some form of platform and/or feet that you can store and move into position when you need them.
I'd almost even consider getting some railroad ties, cut them into smaller blocks, attach the blocks together and make a pair of pads.
Using plastic blocks is not a good long term parking solution.
This allows you to safely lift it without using the stabilizers to hold it while adjusting your main jack with support.

Buyer’s Cheat Sheet

What to check before you click ‘Add to Cart.’
Weight considerations for stabilizer jacks
I’m *acutely* aware of… and would rather use that weight for other purposes.
Preference for manual over power stabilizers
I've always been happy with them.
It’s just a little easier, and you can still do it manually if / when they break.
manual once can be easily fixed with percussive maintenance (whack with a hammer) and are cheap to replace once they need to be replaced.

Cautionary Callouts

Know the pitfalls before they catch you off guard.
Challenges with leveling on inclines
Found out mine were for *leveling*, not compensating for a 45° mountain incline.
Concerns about long-term stability of plastic blocks
the stabilizers are not designed for lifting up the unit, but they can hold the static weight fine.
