Newb question: Meat! vs LEM grinders Hey all, I'm finally looking to start processing my own deer this year.
For what it's worth I've never even heard of Meat! but my LEM grinder is super high quality and I feel like it's worth every penny I paid for it.
I bought the LEM #8 and never had any regret. It’s built like a tank, works perfectly and is a pleasure to operate.

Only issue I have had is the throat size is kinda small so you end up cutting a lot of small pieces.

Nothing, my high end grinder does the same. Unthawed, semi thawed, it doesn’t matter.
That grey is from the fat acting as a lubricant. To avoid that and extend the life of your plate and x-blade.
My stores very expensive and very large meat grinder does the same thing, you aren’t doing anything wrong.
