Snoop's Take

The HK Army 20oz Aluminum CO2 Tank is designed for paintball and airsoft enthusiasts who seek a reliable and high-pressure compressed air system. This tank offers an affordable option for players looking to enhance their gear without breaking the bank. Consumer sentiment around the HK Army tank reveals a mix of praise and criticism. Many users appreciate the tank's affordability, with one noting, "there is no better deal on a tank right now not even c02 wise than the hk army 48/3000ci HPA tank for $25." However, some feedback highlights that the tank lacks a regulator and that CO2 technology is becoming outdated, posing limitations in functionality for modern markers. Overall, while the HK Army 20oz Aluminum CO2 Tank is well-regarded for its price point and performance, potential buyers should be aware of its limitations, especially the absence of a regulator. It is recommended for budget-conscious users who prioritize value but may not be the best choice for those seeking the latest technology in air systems.

Core Power Plays

The specs and strengths that make it shine.
Choice of HPA tank doesn't affect performance significantly
choice of HPA tank doesn't really affect performance.
Understanding CO2 tank pressure behavior
The pressure inside the tank will always be the *vapor pressure* of CO2, which is temperature-dependent, right up until the supply of CO2 is exhausted.
Testing specifications for Bazooka Ball
A Bazooka Ball weights 11 grams. Paintball Markers can be adjusted to 43 feet per second.
Inquiry about tank dimensions for potential buyers
What are the outside diameters of the tanks. If 2 inches or less pump players may buy them.
Discussion on tank regulator threads
I cannot find anywhere what type of thread is on the output of most tank regulators like the HK Army 36CI / 4500PSI tanks'.
Any idea how you would interface the regulator to a normal line fitting? ie, a .830-14 female to G1/4 adapter?
I think it’s CGA320 CO2 valve, 1.125″ -12 UNF. That was the c02 threads, same as a soda stream cylinder.
Discussion on the benefits of adjustable tank regulators
What is the benefit, if any, of being able to adjust tank regulator? It has been 15 years since the last time I picked up a paintball gun and back then all I ever used was a CO2.
Given the fact that the CZR operates with a traditional ASA and macro line that feeds into a traditionally-located HPR, I concur with that recommendation.

Discussion about hot water dispensing capability
Ninja Luxe Cafe Premier Early Review Not sure how long this review will end up being, but a few note
Great review! Is it true that the unit cannot easily dispense hot water ? I like doing Americano and it’s the only thing that is putting me on the fence about buying one
Discussion about improving tank aesthetics and plant growth
I thought it looked good until I took this photo and realised that it’s not aesthetically pleasing as it used to be.
Combining paintball with another regulator
Dude thank you so much we are combining the paintball with another regulator and we couldn’t find adapters at all
Using hoses for air supply
Older paintball markers utilize plastic hoses and pouch in fittings that use 1/8" npt.

Discussion about tank capacity and usage
The biggest tank you can get.
Discussion on proper fittings for HPA tanks
There was no way to adjust velocity and this was before scenarios had rules around nerf rockets etc.
Discussion about air usage depending on the marker
I have a ninja lite carbon fiber tank 68/4500 attached to a 160R and it will shoot a full Dye LTR hopper and about 10.5 pods before I started running out of air.

Cautionary Callouts

Know the pitfalls before they catch you off guard.
Caution about using paintball tanks in pressurized systems
Im looking at using a paintball tank for a project which involves pressurized air.
Most anything you can buy from the hardware store isn't rated for this pressure.
