Snoop's Take

The Everest Carry-On Briefcase is a versatile bag designed for everyday use, particularly for professionals who need to transport their laptop and work essentials. With dimensions of 16" x 6" x 11", it features a spacious main compartment and a zippered front pocket, making it an ideal companion for work or travel. Consumer sentiment regarding the Everest Carry-On Briefcase is largely positive, especially for its size and utility. Users appreciate that "it’s the perfect size for bringing a laptop and mouse, other work accessories, plus lunch and/or a change of clothes if needed." However, some feedback suggests it feels more like a small duffel bag rather than a traditional briefcase, with sentiments like "this has been my favorite 3way bag" indicating a preference for its practicality over formality. Overall, the Everest Carry-On Briefcase is recommended for those seeking a functional and compact bag for daily use, especially if they require a blend of casual and professional aesthetics.

Not as roomy as a standalone backpack
this has been my favorite 3way bag I use, and typically I use it for more "formal" trade shows where I want to walk around with a briefcase instead of a backpack.

Discussion about clueless tourists on Everest

This doco is full of clueless tourists on Everest.
Discussion on quality of budget briefcases
I really like the bags from Cravar - I have the FC briefcase and a camera bag from them and both bags are very high quality in stitching, rivets, brass hardware, leather, and the shoulder strap.
I think if you're looking for a nice quality bag under, say, 200 then its worth looking at non-leather briefcases.
The Aviator brief is still classy as heck but doesn’t require a huge expenditure on full leather.
