Snoop's Take

Dollar Shave Club's 4 Blade Razor Refills (8 Pack) are designed for individuals seeking a reliable shaving solution with precision cut blades. These refills feature stainless steel blades that are meant to rinse easily, catering particularly to those with longer or thicker hair. However, consumer sentiment reflects significant dissatisfaction with the product's quality, particularly after recent changes. Many users have noted that the "new blades are horrible!" with complaints about the blades flexing during use and causing discomfort. Additionally, sentiments like "the quality is just garbage" and "the new blades are absolute garbage!" highlight a decline in perceived quality compared to previous offerings. Based on the feedback, the Dollar Shave Club 4 Blade Razor Refills may not be the best choice in its category due to the prevalent issues surrounding blade quality and performance. Potential buyers might want to consider alternatives or wait for improvements before committing to this product.

The new Club blades are horrible! I believe this allows the blades to flex during use, which changes the shaving angle and causes an uncomfortable shave.

The specs and strengths that make it shine.
Users discussing alternatives to Dollar Shave Club
Try double edge shaving.
Unfortunately, even at only $3, the Club razor is a terrible buy.
The Dorco Pace 6 is the exact same razor and handle that DSC marketed as ‘executive’ and it’s less $!
There is also a whole world of Safety razors that people are transferring to because they dislike cartridge razors.
Comparison of new blades to traditional katanas
I would imagine most katanas are much duller than your average razor blade by design.
