Snoop's Take

The Blue Diamond 9.5” & 11" Frying Pan Skillet Set is a duo of versatile ceramic nonstick pans engineered for quick, even heating and multi-surface cooking. Designed for both stovetop and oven use, this set promises a toxin-free, metal utensil safe experience for everyday chefs. User feedback paints a divided picture, with some applauding the safe ceramic nonstick coating—one customer noted, 'Ceramic is safe to use. It's what I use myself'—while others ridicule its premature wear, claiming that 'after a few months it started sticking.' The enthusiasm for initial performance is counterbalanced by repeated complaints about the coating's durability, leaving prospects wondering if the hype matches long-term reality. In conclusion, the product may impress for short-term use and safety credentials, but if longevity and reliable nonstick performance are paramount, potential buyers might want to explore alternatives before committing.

after a few months it started sticking.
Yep. Did this recently. Mostly because the non stick was coming off.
Unclear PTFE-free labeling
Being PTFE-free would be a selling point, and something they would want to advertise.

Buyer’s Cheat Sheet

What to check before you click ‘Add to Cart.’
Requires gentle use and proper utensils for nonstick pans
If that is ceramic then you need to always use oil or butter and use only low to medium heat.
If you’re wanting a pan for high heat, nonstick is not the best option!
Non stick cookware needs to be babied.
Blue Diamond appears to be a straight up scam though, many people reporting only a single use out of them.
Various cleaning tips for burnt-on food
It’s crazy easy and works great.
you may need to rinse, repeat.

Cautionary Callouts

Know the pitfalls before they catch you off guard.
General nonstick cookware durability concerns
It can last if you really baby it, but you really shouldn’t plan on getting more than a few years of regular use out of it.
It definitely follows the boot rule. “Pay a bit more upfront to have an item that will outlive 5-10 of the cheaper.”
Uncertainty about bird safety due to potential PTFE content
unless they explicitly say *PTFE free*, I would not recommend getting them.
I didn't see them say that on their website.
I am paranoid, anyone use blue diamond products in the same house as their birds?
